The cooling ducts help pull air from the back of the radiator and down under the engine and into the low-pressure area of the car.; Our solution to creating a direct replacement under tray in 2mm aluminium began with a full 3D scan of the vehicle’s underside to ensure a perfect fitment.; During research for this product, we discovered that Mini reduced the size of the under tray on the JCW GP4 model, exposing more of the underside of the engine.; This actively helps to pull warm air from the back of the radiator, down under the engine and into the low-pressure area of the car below.; This effectively creates an increased flow path within the engine bay to transfer heat out, helping to reduce engine running temperatures.; The under tray has three main purposes: to protect the underside of the vehicle from foreign objects flicking up and causing damage or accelerated wear.; Lastly, on performance models, the under tray often provides increased cooling by either venting cold air to, or extracting warm air from the engine bay.; Features : Direct replacement for original Mini F56 under tray Created from 3D scan and CAD software for perfect fitment Made from high-quality 2mm aluminium for increased strength Uses original mounting points – no cutting or drilling required Improved cooling due to larger ducting Comes in a durable black powder coat finish Registered Design Right number: Application Pending AIRTEC part no: ATMSMINI19; Mini; F56
