The Solution Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK we designed an auxiliary radiator to focus on reducing heat from the hottest part of the engine; the turbo.; This helps reduce the whole engine’s cooling level, as less heat into the radiator equates to less heat in the car’s overall operating temperature, allowing the car to maintain a steadier temperature for longer during hard use.; The radiator fits neatly behind the fog light (requires removal) and utilises our bespoke CAD-modelled air duct to force cold air through the radiator.; This can fit with our intercooler, replacement inspection panel and oil cooler to create the ultimate cooling package.; Also a major advantage is that I can repeat that all day long, whereas before I found that once the temperature of the oil got really hot it would normally not cool down enough for the rest of the day, so it meant I ended up doing only 3 to 4 laps before the temperature rose again, as the oil never fully cooled down and seemed to heat back up quicker.” Features: Designed and developed specifically for the FK2 Civic Type R Improves both cooling capacity and ability Utilises our bespoke CAD-modell; Honda
