Application

As part of our expanding Honda product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) oil catch can upgrade for the Civic Type R FL5 model, suitable for track or fast road use.; Oil catch cans are vital preventative additions to ensure the performance and efficiency of Direct Injection engines doesn’t deteriorate over time due to unwanted blow-by gases and vapours, which can enter the engine from a CCV port or PCV valve.; AIRTEC Motorsport’s solution to developing a PCV catch can kit specifically for the Civic Type R FL5 model utilises the available space at the front of the engine bay to integrate seamlessly.; The PCV valve is a one-way valve that when open allows blow-by gases and vapour produced by the engine to pass from the crank case and back into the inlet manifold, which is what creates the undesirable carbon build-up inside the engine’s intake system over time.; Honda
